Croatia In April 2006, a delegation of children and
carers from two children's homes in Croatia visited Jomanda in Valkenburg.
Jomanda donated € 5,000.00 on behalf of Jomanda's World Children,
to share between the two homes. These homes accommodate orphans and
children who can no longer live at home due to difficult circumstances.
The children's home Brace Mazuranic, in Novi Vinodolski, has spent
part of the donation on an outing with all 50 children to the historical
town of Sibenik and the Kra waterfalls in Croatia. The remainder of
the money was used to buy lockers for the children's bedrooms. The
childrens home Izvor, in Selce, spent the donation on computer sofware,
which the older children can use for their studies. The children and
carers are grateful for this generous gift from the Jomanda's World
Children Foundation.
High Award for Jomanda
On Wednesday, June 19th 2002, a Dutch delegation was welcomed in the
assembly hall of the school for orphans by the mayor of Otocac district.
In the company of many invitees they went to see the renovations,
which had been sponsored by Jomanda. In his speech, the mayor mentioned
the many merits of Jomanda in this region.
She earned this special award, because for over ten years, during
and also after the war, she has given great support to the people
in this region, and still does.
She is the first foreigner to receive this great honour. Also, the
Jomanda's World Children Foundation was included in this homage by
means of a certificateof appreciation. (Left, under the photo of Jomanda

Jomanda's Visit to Croatia
March 2007
Jomanda was in Croatia for a week in March 2007. She visited various
institutions for Jomanda's World Children and was able to help many
people during group healings and individual treatment. The children's
homes Izvor, in Selce, and Brace Mazuranic, in Novi Vinodolski, had
both received donations in 2006, and during her visit this year, Jomanda
could see for herself how the money had been spent. As a surprise,
she had brought cuddly toys for all the children and an extra donation
of € 500.00 for both children's homes. Jomanda also donated
€ 1,000.00 on behalf of the Jomanda's World Children Foundation
to a crèche which is to be newly opened in Tribalj. The money is for
fitting out the kitchen where meals for the children will be prepared.
In Rijeka, Jomanda visited the 'Centar za Autizam', a small school
which specializes in guiding children with autism. The children reacted
very spontaneously to Jomanda's visit and asked many questions. This
centre received € 1,000.00 from the foundation for the speech
therapy department. This was gratefully received. On the island of
Krk Jomanda visited a nursing home for the elderly and disabled and
was able to help people there via her mediumship. A woman who was
seriuosly ill, and whose limbs were paralysed as a result of this
illness, experienced a clearly perceptible improvement after Jomanda's
treatment. After the treatment, she began to get more strength in
her right hand and arm, and she has limited use of them now. Her left
hand is now also showing signs of improvement. It was especially amazing,
because this woman's daughter had heard of Jomanda's gift of healing
and had tried, unsuccessfully, to contact her to ask for help for
her mother. She was totally flabbergasted when that afternoon she
went to visit her mother, who told her Jomanda had been to visit and
had givn her treatment. This woman now always sleeps with one of Jomanda's
energized cards under her pillow. Jomanda had also brought something
special from the Netherlands: boxes full of clothes and toys which
had belonged to a baby called Dimitri. Dimitri had died in the Netherlands
in 2005 and his mother had asked Jomanda to give these things to a
mother who is less well off. Then Jomanda had felt these things should
go to Croatia. During Jomanda's visit the right person for this gift
couldn't be found. Later we came into contact with a children's home
for babies and toddlers in Rijeka. Currently, 27 children, all under
the age of 3, are lovingly cared for in this home. They are either
orphans, or children whose parents can no longer care for them because
of their circumstances. The toys and clothes were gratefully received.
