There is a home for orphans and displaced families in the capital Addis Abeba. Currently, 42 children and 5 adults are living there. A corn mill project has been set up here in order to encourage people from this home to build a new future. The corn mills are located in the vicinity of the home and local inhabitants come here to have their cereal crops ground. Young people from the home operate the mills. Thanks to a contribution from Jomanda's World Children, some rooms, an office and toilet facilities are being realized here. With this project a start is being made for an activity with a future for young people from the home.

So far, Jomanda's World Children has contributed € 12,500.00 to Ethiopia.
